Dish Details & Recommendations

Dish Introduction

Tap any dish in the menu list to enter the detail page:

• Dish name: Original + your chosen target-language translation
• Ingredients: AI-inferred main ingredients and seasonings
• Preparation: Common cooking methods, flavor notes (spice, sweetness, etc.)
• Pairings: Suggested staples and drinks

Introductions are AI-generated and informational. For allergy or health concerns, verify directly with the restaurant.

AI Recommendation

Tap "AI Recommendation" at the bottom of the menu page. The app prompts you for:

• Party size
• Budget range
• Special needs (e.g., vegetarian, no spicy; defaults from your global preferences)

The model proposes a balanced combination of dishes based on the menu and your inputs, with reasoning.

Ordering List

After confirming the recommendation, you can:

• Generate an "order list" (dish names + quantity) to show the server
• Add additional dishes or adjust quantities
• One-tap copy the list to clipboard

History

Every recognition session is saved in the History tab:

• Sorted by time, with menu thumbnails and result summaries
• Tap any entry to revisit the detail page without re-shooting
• Long-press to delete (also clears local cached image)

Privacy & Data

• Captured menu images are not retained long-term server-side after recognition
• Local cache can be cleared under Me → Settings → Clear Cache
• Detailed data handling is in the Privacy Policy
