These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the AllergyLens mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
AllergyLens helps you identify potential allergens in food and personal-care products by combining on-device computer vision with cloud-side ingredient analysis. The Service is provided for informational and convenience purposes only.
2. Medical Disclaimer
AllergyLens is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Detection results may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect.
Always read the original product packaging and ingredient list, and consult a qualified healthcare professional for any allergy-related decisions. In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscription & Billing
Certain features ("Pro features") require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store refund policy.
5. User Content & Conduct
You are responsible for any photos, profile data, or other content you provide. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, including content of other people without their consent;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, models, designs, and trademarks, is owned by SignalRender Inc. and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling your subscription.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalRender Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including damages arising from reliance on detection results.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AllergyLens is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
