JobProof is a local-first job documentation app developed by SignalRender Inc. This policy explains how JobProof handles information when you capture work, prepare reports, collect customer acknowledgement, and use a JobProof Pro subscription.
1. Information You Add
JobProof may store the following information on your device:
- Job names, addresses, customer names, notes, and completion details.
- Photos you capture or import, annotations, capture metadata, and SHA-256 integrity hashes.
- Report versions, delivery history, customer acknowledgement text, names, and handwritten signature strokes.
- Your JobProof Pro entitlement status as reported by Apple's StoreKit.
JobProof does not require an account.
2. Local Storage and Sharing
Job content, photos, reports, and acknowledgements are processed and stored locally on your device. JobProof does not upload those records to a SignalRender cloud service.
Job content leaves the app only when you deliberately export or share a report, or when you contact support. The destination you choose may apply its own privacy terms.
Deleting the app may permanently remove local JobProof records. Keep exported copies of records you need to retain.
3. Product Analytics
JobProof may send limited product-interaction events and an app-scoped device identifier to our analytics service so we can understand feature usage and diagnose product issues. These events do not include your photos, job records, customer details, signatures, report contents, precise location, advertising identifier, or contact information. We do not use this information to track you across apps or websites.
4. Permissions
- Camera: used to capture job photos.
- Photo Library: used when you import or save images at your direction.
JobProof does not request Location Services permission or add precise location or GPS coordinates. An original file imported from your Photo Library may retain metadata already embedded by its source camera or app because JobProof preserves the imported file bytes.
5. Purchases
Apple processes all subscription purchases and payment details. JobProof reads StoreKit product and entitlement information to display localized prices, restore purchases, and unlock unlimited report delivery. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
6. Integrity Data
JobProof creates SHA-256 hashes for original images, manifests, report versions, and acknowledgement assets. These values are used for local integrity checks. JobProof does not publish them to a public ledger or remote timestamp service.
7. Support Communications
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message. Do not send confidential job photos or customer information unless it is necessary for your support request.
