PawIsle Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using PawIsle (the "App"), made by SignalRender Inc., you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PawIsle on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.

3. Playing for Free

PawIsle is free to download and play. Adopting your first pet, caring for your pets, the widgets, the daily check-in, the daily free food and today's wishes cost nothing, and the App never shows ads. Dried fish, the game's currency, can be earned by playing — for example from wishes, check-ins and bond levels — or bought.

4. Dried Fish and Items

Dried fish and the items, furniture, adoption slots and pets you get with them are virtual items that we license to you for use in PawIsle only.

  • They have no cash value: they cannot be cashed out, exchanged for money or anything outside PawIsle, or transferred to another person.
  • Dried fish never expire.
  • Each dried fish pack's first-purchase double applies once, and the Starter Bundle can be bought once per player.
  • We may change what things cost in dried fish and what the game rewards, for example to keep the game balanced.
  • Your dried fish and items are stored on your device with the rest of your island (see section 8).

5. Buying Dried Fish and the Starter Bundle

Dried fish packs and the Starter Bundle are consumable in-app purchases.

  • The price is shown in the App Store, in your local currency, before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID.
  • All purchases are processed by Apple; billing, refunds and receipts are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
  • If Ask to Buy is on for a child's account, the purchase completes only after the parent or guardian approves it.
  • Consumable purchases are not available through Family Sharing, and "Restore Purchases" cannot bring them back: once delivered, they are part of your island on this device.

6. PawIsle Pass (Auto-Renewing Subscription)

The PawIsle Pass is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. In the United States it costs US$4.99 a month; the price in your country is shown in the App Store before you confirm.

  • When your purchase is verified, you receive 300 dried fish. During the term you can claim 60 dried fish and a can of food once a day; days you don't claim do not carry over. The Pass also opens one extra adoption slot on your island.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically each month at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel the Pass at any time in your Apple ID's subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting PawIsle does not cancel it.
  • When you cancel, the Pass stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. No refunds are given for the unused part of a period, except where required by law or under Apple's refund policy.
  • When the Pass ends, the daily dried fish and can stop. The dried fish and items you've already received, and the adoption slot it opened, stay on your island.
  • The PawIsle Pass is not available through Family Sharing. On another device signed in with the same Apple ID, use "Restore Purchases" in the Shop's Dried fish tab to bring an active Pass back.

7. Adoption Odds

When you adopt with "Meet today's", six pets are waiting, and every trait of every pet is drawn at random. Rare traits appear at the odds shown in the App under "Rare trait odds" before you choose, and a rare trait met this way costs no extra dried fish. "New faces" draws a new six: it is free once a day, and after that it costs the dried fish shown on the button. Drawing again never changes the odds. You can also choose every trait yourself with "Design your own", where common traits are free and each rare trait costs the dried fish shown.

8. Your Island

Your island, pets, dried fish and items are stored on your device. We have no copy on a server, so if the App is deleted, or your device is lost or reset without a backup, they cannot be restored — including those you bought, except an active PawIsle Pass, which you can restore as described in section 6. Keep your device backed up for anything you want to keep.

9. Fair Play

You agree not to modify PawIsle or its saved data, or to exploit errors, to obtain dried fish or items you did not earn or buy.

10. Children

PawIsle is made for players of all ages, including children. If you are a minor, use the App with the permission of a parent or guardian, and ask them before buying anything; they are responsible for purchases made through the family's Apple account.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PawIsle only for lawful, personal purposes. You will not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalRender Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or virtual items, arising from your use of the App.

14. Apple Standard EULA

To the extent applicable, your use of PawIsle is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement:

If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, these Terms prevail to the extent permitted, unless Apple requires its terms to apply.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
