1. The service
QuipKey is a Chinese keyboard app for iOS developed by SignalRender Inc., comprising the main app and its bundled keyboard extension. These terms apply to QuipKey and its related services.
2. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use QuipKey on Apple devices you own or control.
3. Accounts
An account is required for Platform models. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. You may delete your account from within the app at any time.
4. Inference backends and third parties
QuipKey lets you choose who processes what you send to the assistant:
- With Platform models, we relay it to a model provider and bill it against your credits
- With your own key (Anthropic / OpenAI / Doubao / Gemini), your device talks to that provider directly. Your relationship with them is governed by their terms; we are not a party to it and are not responsible for their availability, output or billing
- With self-hosted Ollama, your own server does the processing and we are not involved
You are responsible for ensuring your use of these backends complies with their terms and with the law where you are.
5. Credits
Platform credits settle calls to platform models. Credits are not currency: they cannot be cashed out or transferred, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We will give notice in the app before changing pricing or credit rules.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to what you type and to your conversations. To the extent necessary to provide the service, you grant us permission to process and transmit that content — solely to deliver it to the backend you chose and return the result to you.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use QuipKey for unlawful activity, to generate content that infringes others' rights, to circumvent credit or billing mechanisms, or to reverse-engineer, disrupt or overload the service.
8. Intellectual property
The QuipKey app and all of its content, functionality and design are the intellectual property of SignalRender Inc.
9. Disclaimer
QuipKey is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The assistant's output is generated by a language model and may be inaccurate — verify anything that matters before acting on it. We are not liable for losses arising from use of the app.
10. Changes
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be published in the app; continued use constitutes acceptance.
