At a Glance
ReelCraft is a local-first video editor. Your footage, photos, projects, and exports stay on your device. ReelCraft has no account system and does not upload your media to our servers. The only personal data that leaves your device is what you voluntarily send us through in-app feedback, and standard, anonymized diagnostics.

ReelCraft does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, contacts, precise location, or browsing history.
2. Photo Library Access
When you import media, ReelCraft uses Apple's system media picker. Selected items are copied into the app's sandbox for editing. ReelCraft accesses only the specific items you choose and does not read your entire photo library.
3. On-Device Processing
All editing, rendering, effects, and export run locally using Apple frameworks (AVFoundation, Metal) on your device. Your media is not transmitted to us or any third party for processing.
4. Third-Party Services
ReelCraft does not embed third-party advertising or social tracking SDKs. Purchases are handled by Apple In-App Purchase; subscription status is provided by Apple. Anonymized diagnostics may be processed by our analytics infrastructure operated by SignalRender Inc.
5. Subscriptions
ReelCraft Pro (monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription) is billed through your Apple ID via In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple handles all billing.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your media and projects: stored locally; deleting a project or uninstalling the app removes them from your device.
- Feedback: retained only as long as needed to handle your request.
- Diagnostics: retained in aggregated, anonymized form.
7. Your Rights
Because ReelCraft is local-first and account-free, you remain in control of your data: delete projects in-app, revoke photo access in iOS Settings, and uninstall to remove all local data. For questions about feedback data you've submitted, contact us.
8. Children's Privacy
ReelCraft is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Security
Your media is protected by the iOS application sandbox and device-level encryption. Data transmitted for feedback or diagnostics is sent over encrypted connections.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice.
