Rifff Terms of Service

1. About Rifff

Rifff ("Rifff", "the Service") is a social application developed by SignalRender Inc. ("we", "us") for discovering, creating, publishing, and remixing interactive content. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.

By creating an account or using Rifff, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the higher minimum age required by your local law. If you are below the age at which you can consent to these Terms independently, a parent or legal guardian must consent on your behalf. You may not use Rifff if applicable law prohibits you from receiving the Service.

3. Your Account

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in method and device secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. Handles are provided for use within Rifff and may be changed or reclaimed when necessary to prevent impersonation, infringement, confusion, or inactivity abuse.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of captions, interactive packages, images, comments, messages, and other material you submit ("User Content"). You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and use that content.

To operate Rifff, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formats, display, distribute, and make User Content available through the Service. For content you publish, this license includes enabling other users to view, interact with, and create remixes from it according to Rifff's features. The license ends when the content is deleted, except to the extent a copy or reference must remain in an existing remix relationship, backup, legal record, or material another user is independently entitled to keep.

Direct messages are provided only to their conversation participants and are not licensed for public display.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Rifff to:

violate law or another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights;
threaten, harass, exploit, defraud, impersonate, or encourage harm to another person;
publish sexual exploitation material, content that endangers children, or other unlawful material;
distribute malware, interfere with the Service, bypass security or access controls, scrape at unreasonable scale, or manipulate engagement deceptively;
send spam or use direct messages for unwanted commercial solicitation;
submit information you are not authorized to disclose.

We may remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the Service, or comply with law. We may also preserve information when legally required.

6. Voice and Generated Content

Voice creation uses speech recognition to turn audio into text. Creation instructions and relevant context may then be processed by automated models. Transcripts and generated results can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or similar to material produced for others. You must review generated content before publishing it and remain responsible for your use of it and for ensuring that it complies with these Terms and applicable law.

Do not rely on generated content for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other professional decisions. We do not guarantee that a generated result is unique, accurate, or free from third-party claims.

7. Other Users and Third-Party Material

User Content reflects its author's views, not ours. We do not endorse or guarantee User Content and are not responsible for agreements or disputes between users. The Service may include links or material supplied by third parties, which may be governed by separate terms.

8. Our Intellectual Property

Rifff's software, branding, interface, and other materials that are not User Content belong to SignalRender Inc. or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for lawful personal purposes. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or create unauthorized derivative services except where law expressly permits.

9. Availability and Changes

Rifff may change as we test and improve interactive-content technology. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and do not guarantee that the Service or any item of content will always remain available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Account Termination

You may stop using Rifff, delete content through available controls, or request account deletion through in-app feedback or support. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or use the Service unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including licenses already relied upon, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limitations, remain effective.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Rifff is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalRender Inc. and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or harm arising from User Content, generated content, unauthorized account access, or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
