1. About the Service
Sleeve ("Sleeve", "the App") is an iOS music player developed by SignalRender Inc. ("we", "us"). Sleeve plays audio files you already own, read in place from sources you connect — a folder on your device, a cloud drive, a network share, or your own media server. Sleeve Pro is a one-time purchase that lifts the free tier's limits on the number of connected sources and smart playlists. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sleeve.
2. Sleeve Does Not Supply Music
This is the most important thing on this page. Sleeve does not provide, host, stream, distribute, index, or help you find any music, and contains no music catalog, store, or search of any third-party content. It is a player for files that are already yours.
You are solely responsible for the files you play through Sleeve and for having the right to possess and play them. Do not use Sleeve with material you are not entitled to use. We have no ability to inspect, moderate, or supply your library, and we do not.
3. Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, and at least 13 years old, to use Sleeve.
4. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Sleeve on Apple devices you own or control. You may not:
- distribute, sell, resell, rent, sublicense, or commercialize Sleeve or any part of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code (except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law);
- remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- use Sleeve to violate any law or third-party right, including copyright.
5. Always-Free Core
Playing your library, lyrics, the equalizer, volume normalization, gapless playback, pinning tracks for offline use, and organizing your library one item at a time are always free, with no advertising and no time limit. The free tier does not expire and will not begin showing ads. This is part of the product's design, not a promotion we may withdraw without notice to you in-app.
6. Sleeve Pro & Billing
Sleeve Pro is a one-time purchase — not a subscription. There is nothing to auto-renew and nothing to cancel. It is billed through your Apple ID via In-App Purchase at the price shown on the App Store at the time of purchase, and is subject to the Apple Media Services Terms.
Pro lifts the free tier's limits: unlimited connected sources (the free tier includes one) and unlimited smart playlists (the free tier includes two). We list on the paywall only limits that exist in the code.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy; we do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds independently.
7. Sources You Connect
Connecting a source grants Sleeve read access to a location you choose. You are responsible for the credentials you enter and for your right to access that location. A source may become unavailable for reasons outside our control — a machine powered off, a network change, an expired authorization. Sleeve will tell you which source is affected and what to do about it, but cannot restore access on your behalf.
8. Your Files
Sleeve reads your audio in place and does not modify it. Where Sleeve offers to write corrected track information back to a file, it does so only at your explicit instruction. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; we are not liable for loss of files held on your devices or third-party services.
9. Intellectual Property
Sleeve, its design system, artwork, and code are owned by SignalRender Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Sleeve to you. Your music remains yours; we claim no rights in it.
10. Service Availability
Sleeve is designed to work without a network connection. Optional lookups (lyrics, artwork) depend on third-party services that may change or become unavailable; we do not guarantee their continued availability.
11. Disclaimer
Sleeve is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Audio playback capability depends on formats supported by iOS; Sleeve reports plainly when a file cannot be decoded rather than failing silently, but cannot add codecs that iOS does not provide.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalRender Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Sleeve. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Sleeve in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
You may stop using Sleeve at any time by uninstalling it; your music is unaffected. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms.
14. Apple Standard EULA
Your use of Sleeve is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, these Terms prevail to the extent permitted, unless Apple requires its terms to apply.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice. Continued use of Sleeve after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Sleeve shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, in the courts of Singapore, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence require otherwise.
