1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Tempobook (the "App"), made by SignalRender Inc., you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tempobook on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.
3. What Is Free
The metronome, the tuner and drone, and the practice tools are free and will stay free, and the App will never show ads. The practice book is free for up to three pieces, with the tempo ladder and calendar included. Recording is free; without Pro, the App keeps your latest take.
4. Tempobook Pro
Tempobook Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It removes the three-piece limit in the practice book and keeps an archive of your recordings.
- It is not a subscription: it never renews and there is nothing to cancel.
- The price is shown in the App Store, in your local currency, before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID.
- All purchases are processed by Apple; billing, refunds and receipts are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms.
- Tempobook Pro works with Family Sharing, so members of your family group can use it at no extra cost.
- If Ask to Buy is on for a child's account, the purchase completes only after the parent or guardian approves it.
- You can restore your purchase on another device signed in with the same Apple ID using "Restore Purchases" on the Pro screen.
5. Your Practice Book and Recordings
Your practice book and your recordings belong to you. Tempobook stores them on your device and does not upload them, so we have no copy to restore if your device is lost or reset, or if the App is deleted. Keep your device backed up for anything you want to keep.
6. Recording Other People
You are responsible for what you record. If you record a lesson, a rehearsal or anyone other than yourself, ask them first and follow the laws that apply where you record.
7. Timing and Tuning
We design Tempobook to keep accurate time, including when your screen is locked, and to measure pitch accurately. Results can still be affected by your device, the audio route (for example Bluetooth headphones), interruptions such as phone calls, and your instrument and surroundings. Tempobook is a practice aid, not calibrated measuring equipment.
8. Children
Tempobook is made for musicians of all ages, including children learning an instrument. If you are a minor, use the App with the permission of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for purchases made through the family's Apple account.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Tempobook only for lawful, personal purposes. You will not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalRender Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
