Pluvio Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-11-02 · Effective: 2026-11-02

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Pluvio (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pluvio on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.

3. What Pluvio Is — and What It Is Not

Pluvio shows rainfall estimated from radar and rain gauges by NOAA's Multi-Radar/Multi-Sensor System (MRMS). Each estimate describes an area of about a square kilometer around a place, not a single point, and it can differ from what a gauge at that spot catches. Recent hours are preliminary and can change when NOAA's gauge-corrected values arrive. Data can also arrive late, be missing for some areas, or be wrong.

Pluvio is not an official measurement and not a warning service. It does not replace a calibrated rain gauge, and it must not be relied on for decisions about life, health or safety. For floods, severe storms and other dangerous weather, follow the National Weather Service and your local authorities.

4. Pluvio Pro: Subscriptions

Reading the rain, the gauge log, the 7 AM report, one alert and every widget are free, for two places and the last 30 days. Pluvio Pro adds up to 20 places, every day in Pluvio's archive, an alert on every place, and the rain year and custom ranges. Pluvio Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed yearly or monthly. The yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers; any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. All purchases are processed by Apple; billing, refunds and receipts are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms. You can restore a purchase on a new device from the Pro screen.

5. Data Sources

Rainfall estimates are derived from NOAA MRMS data, which is in the public domain. NOAA and the National Weather Service do not endorse Pluvio. Maps and address search are provided by Apple.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pluvio only for lawful purposes. You will not access Pluvio's service by automated means other than the App itself, attempt to get around its limits, or use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and its rainfall data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reading, total, alert or report will be accurate, complete or on time. Decisions you make using Pluvio — about irrigation, field work, construction or anything else — are your own.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalRender Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, crops, property or profits, arising from your use of the App or its data.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
