Export a Whole Document as PDF | InkBoard

Frequently asked questions

Can I export a whole document, not just one page?
Yes, as a PDF. Whole-document PDF export and Print are Pro features.
What can I export for free?
Document scanning, and single-page export to PDF, PNG or JPEG.
What else is in Pro?
Start Recording among the Assist Tools, whole-document PDF export and Print, and lasso handwriting converted to text.
Which app categories is InkBoard in?
Primary category Productivity, secondary Education.

The short answer

Single-page export is what most scanning apps give you. InkBoard's free tier does that — PDF, PNG or JPEG — and whole-document export to PDF is a Pro feature.

The boundary, stated

Worth being exact because scanning apps usually blur it:

  • Free: document scanning, and single-page export to PDF, PNG or JPEG
  • Pro: whole-document PDF export and Print, plus Start Recording among the Assist Tools, and lasso handwriting converted to text

Why whole-document matters

The reason to keep notes in one document rather than one per thought is that they stay connected. Export is where that usually gets undone: a document of twelve pages has to be reassembled page by page somewhere else, and by then the reason you combined them is gone.

Whole-document PDF export plus Print is the Pro half of that.

Categories

InkBoard sits in Productivity primarily, with Education secondary — which fits a tool that is deliberately half notes, half whiteboard.
